The barrel cap fits all calibers from 7-12mm and reliably protects the barrel from rain and other contaminants (foreign objects). The barrel cap also fits all silencers of the same caliber (7-12mm). The barrel cap can be easily removed after hunting (tracking wounded game, beating through cover, etc.) and reused next time.
When firing, the cap is pushed out of the muzzle by the pressure generated - no change in the point of impact.
